Zenmuse S1

The Zenmuse S1 is DJI’s first spotlight built for multi-payload drone platforms and is compatible with the DJI Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 300 RTK. Powered by LEP technology, it delivers high brightness, long-range illumination, and multiple lighting modes, making it an excellent solution for public safety, emergency response, inspections, and a wide range of nighttime operations.

Reliable and Intuitive

Flexible Mounting, Lightweight Build

Delivers a 15° field of view (FOV) [2] with an effective range of 150 meters [1], aligning with the illumination area of a camera at 5× zoom or higher. [3] This mode is ideal for most short-range search and inspection tasks.

Low Beam Mode.

Using LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) technology for stronger light penetration, this mode delivers a 4° field of view (FOV) [4] with an effective reach of 300 meters. [1] It matches the illumination range of a camera at 15× zoom or higher, [3] improving efficiency in public safety missions and emergency rescue operations.

High Beam Mode.

Activates both the low and high beams at the same time, providing higher central illuminance than High Beam mode alone. It retains the Low Beam mode’s FOV while extending the observation range to 500 meters. [1] This mode delivers maximum illumination coverage, ensuring comprehensive situational awareness.

Multiple Lighting Modes

Strobe Mode.

The Zenmuse S1 features high-frequency strobe lighting designed to effectively warn and capture the attention of targeted individuals. This makes it especially valuable for signaling during emergency rescue missions and public safety operations.

The Zenmuse S1 delivers a maximum central illuminance of 40 lux at a distance of 100 meters [5], providing sufficient lighting in low-light environments to clearly identify subject details. At the same time, High Beam mode requires only 24 W of power [6], reducing the drone’s power load and helping maintain overall flight time.

Brightness Meets Energy Efficiency

When installed alongside the Zenmuse H30 Series on the Matrice 400, the Zenmuse S1 uses gimbal synchronization and software algorithms to automatically calibrate its optical center in real time, intelligently aligning with the camera’s field of view and effectively preventing light deviation.
